The Final Sacrifice & Legacy

The Final Sacrifice & Legacy

Dr. Munuswamy worked up to his very last day on earth. After completing a demanding night shift on May 30, 2026, he set off on May 31 (Poornima) to coordinate a community feeding drive.

Just five minutes away from his hometown, his vehicle suffered a tyre blowout, hitting a neem tree. True to his medical vow, his very last words to his friends were, "Are you alright?" Upon hearing they were safe, he peacefully passed away.

His demise triggered a massive outpouring of grief, with thousands of patients and political leaders attending his condolences. His family, Dr. A. Padmaja (Wife) and Dr. K. Prabhat Kiran (Son), continue to maintain the Sathram to preserve his memory.
